The Silver Tsunami

Now that the recession is over, baby boomers are retiring more rapidly -- and taking critical knowledge with them. Facts:
  • There are just over 40 million Americans age 65 and older, making up 13 percent of the population.
  • Roughly 17 percent of baby boomers now report that they are retired, up from 10 percent in 2010.
  • By 2030, all baby boomers will have passed age 65.
